Response to COVID-19

A Letter From Our CEO

As many COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we want to share our ongoing response to the coronavirus crisis.

Despite the ease of restrictions, we are continuing to maintain measures we put in place to protect the safety of our employees and contractors while working onsite at Kemp construction projects.

We are committed to implementing long-term solutions that will ensure the safety of everyone involved, enabling us to continue the purposeful work that supports the livelihood of so many.

We will continue to assess and adapt our safety plans and procedures as the situation changes and we acclimate to a new “normal” work environment.

These plans include but are not limited to:

  • Following guidelines from the CDC and state and local government to the best of our abilities
  • Maintaining onsite screening procedures
  • Site specific COVID-19 Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Control Plan with site specific Supervisors
  • Frequent handwashing with soap and water for 20 seconds or longer
  • Social Distancing at all times, greater than 6 feet apart
  • Requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Frequent sanitizing of all surfaces where workers come in contact – door handles, restrooms, counters, and desk surfaces, keyboards, etc.
  • Covering of the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
  • When symptoms arise, not coming to work, or leaving work immediately, to avoid exposure to others. Symptoms include coughing, fever, chills, runny nose, sore throat, body aches, etc. If in doubt, SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE and STAY HOME.

With a safer future on the horizon, we know the Kemp team will continue to come together to build a better tomorrow.

Thank you on behalf of the entire Kemp Family.
