We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team of dedicated professionals. Requirements& Responsibilities
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred
· 5+years of experience in commercial construction estimating
· Proficiency in estimating software, Bluebeam, Excel, and Google spreadsheets
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
· Understanding of construction materials, means and methods, and related terminology
· Familiarity with commercial building and public works contracting codes
· Ability to travel occasionally to local projects for site visits +/- 60miles
· Sets high standards of performance for self and others
· Assumes responsibility / accountability for successfully completing assignments
· Ensures a high quality work product representative of a professional effort

The Project Manager is the face of our company on projects and needs to be an excellent communicator who can adapt to different personalities and various jobsite conditions. The Project Manager must be able to assess problems, make informed and timely decisions on behalf of the project and company goals, demonstrate effective team leadership and be able to delegate tasks appropriately.
Responsibilities include overall management of the construction process, including attending and representing the company in owner/architect meetings; negotiating contracts and change orders with subcontractors; managing project schedule development and implementation; reviewing, analyzing and monitoring project costs and client relations. The applicant must have significant experience with compiling and processing monthly progress billings and administering change orders. In addition, the ability to perform constructability reviews, draft subcontracts and assemble a construction schedule are essential. Accurate job cost reporting to upper management is a priority.

The Project Engineer is an important member of our construction team, working in a field office environment. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing submittals and shop drawings, managing RFIs and securing timely responses, assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily subcontractor field issues. The Project Engineer will communicate with the project’s owner and design team, assisting with processing change orders and managing the project’s closeout effort. All candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.

The Superintendent is our field construction leader and must have verifiable experience in constructing DSA regulated school projects (K-12 and higher education) and various other types of public and private facilities. Healthcare/OSHPD regulated project experience is also a plus. Knowledge of all aspects of project safety and OSHA regulations is required.
Experience in ground up construction, as well as working in occupied building environments, is required. Applicants should possess a broad knowledge of concrete, structural steel, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and demonstrate the ability to schedule these trades with successful outcomes. The ability to plan, coordinate and prosecute the work is essential. Understanding, developing and adhering to project construction schedules is also a mandatory requirement.
The project Superintendent acts as the front-line contact with the owner, architect, engineer and project building inspectors and is expected to provide direction and leadership to all sub-trades, work closely with the contractor’s field staff, Project Managers, Project Engineers and other support staff, owner’s representatives and the design team to help develop and maintain construction schedules, coordinate and direct the construction process.
Excellent interpersonal skills and computer skills with an understanding of BIM are required. Working knowledge of any of the following software is a plus: Microsoft Office Products, especially Project, Primavera, Prolog Manager, NoteVault, Procore, Textura and Bluebeam.
