As a Project Engineer at Kemp Bros Construction, you will be an integral part of the project management team, responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction project are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, resolving any issues that may arise.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and address any concerns that may impact the project timeline or quality.
• Support the Project Manager in preparing and presenting meeting notes, project reports, including cost analysis, progress updates, and risk assessments.
• Assist in the review and interpretation of construction drawings and specifications, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on engineering tasks, identifying potential risks, and proposing solutions to challenges.
• Foster a positive working relationship with all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction project engineering, preferably with a focus on public sector projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore, Bluebeam, BIM, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
